1 feature all we need in AI chat

Most of an AI response is filler. Bookmarks would let you keep the useful parts.

1 feature all we need in AI chat

Chatting to AI is such a ubiquitous part of our life right now. Well, at least it is for me:

  • Considering and researching buying something new – talk to AI

  • Having some random business idea – pitch to and discuss with AI first

  • Asking questions you previously googled – AI!

But you know the one problem that irritates me the most about AI: useful content gets lost in long text when you need it later. It's like reading a long paper or book. You don't find every bit of it useful – only here and there. We need a tool to mark those bits. Yes, I am talking about bookmarks in AI chat!

AI is so good at responding to any type of question, but my gut feeling is (don't quote me on this) that its usefulness-per-sentence ratio is quite low compared to ours. This feature could be equally useful for consumers and business owners: they can see which parts of a response are found useful and tune the models appropriately. Who knows, maybe future models will learn to give short, straight-to-the-point responses. Besides, when text is cheap but reading is not, we should customize AI appropriately.
